1,000 post

THIS IS MY 1,000 POST on this blog.  Oh my word.  What have I said 1,000 times?  Who the heck is still reading this?

I have loved having a blog.  It is a HUGE outlet for me and I have met so many wonderful people through this blog!  People I would have never met had I not opened my big mouth on here.

I thought I would tell you some of the most popular posts that have happened here:

The all time highest viewed post is this one:  Who am I? – basically the page that tells who I am.  I think I need to update it too!  Okay that doesn’t count. The next one is this one:  HAITIAN ADOPTION PROCESS – I guess people are trying to figure out what is taking us so long to bring these kids home!

The top post from the last 30 days was when we got our Visa Appt!

Some of my favorite posts:

My top referrer of all time:  aaronivey.com

second is the Gordon’s

Next referrer was ivey kids site.  that’s my old blog.  oh i loved that blog.

after that is the livesay family and then baby bangs.   thanks guys!

I have wanted to put my blog into a book.  I would like to have each year in a book.  I have tried this numerous times and it’s not as easy as it sounds or looks.  I would pay someone lots of money to do this for me.  Any takers?

  1. Hey Jamie-I am loving keeping up with your blog! 🙂 What part of TEXAS are you in? I am coming to Irving Bible Church to speak on Nov. 17 and to McKinney to speak on Nov. 18…just wondering if you are at either of those churches! 🙂 Love, Christie Erwin 🙂

  2. Jamie have you tried Blurb? it will download your blog into it’s site and then you just go through and format. The books are awesome when finished!

  3. I second the Blurb idea… I have turned my blogs into books many times. It is a bit time consuming but pretty easy, and turns out really nice.

  4. Jamie, I love visiting your blog. I have a couple of friends who read too and sometimes we will talk about your kiddos or about your Visa appointment like we really know you! Ha! Thanks for being real and sharing a little bit of your life on here. 🙂 P/S: I like the new blog design.

  5. I love your blog, Jamie! I’m looking into the book thing too. It overwhelms me. I am waiting to hear back from one guy who does that and if it turns out to be a good thing, I’ll let you know!

  6. Jamie, I’ve only been reading your blog a couple of weeks so this is my first comment but wanted to let you know that Jen at http://lotsofscotts.blogspot.com has her blog bound into books. You should check with her. I’m sure she would share.

Loving the updates on Story! So sweet!

  7. Hey Jamie, My husband wrote a children’s book and we published through Amazon’s CreateSpace. Our experience with the company was very positive. You can publish for yourself alone or to sell/give to others. The books are excellent quality. I’m not sure if that is what you had in mind. You would have to format the book in InDesign or Word. (I designed our book in Word.) If you want more info, let me know. 🙂

  8. Hey Jamie…. Just wanted to say that I find it so funny that my blog is your second biggest referrer….I haven’t updated my blog in months!!!!! Maybe I should, I didn’t think anyone looked at it anymore!
