Sarah Palin and Haiti

I had a dream last night that I saw Sarah Palin in a restaurant.  She was sitting all alone and no one was around her.  I debated and debated about going and talking to her and finally I did.

Can you guess what I talked to her about?

Oh yes I told her all about Haiti and asked for her help.  I told her they were desperate for help and asked if she could get some help for us!

I woke up and laughed at myself for dreaming about Mrs. Palin and for the fact that literally I am always talking about Haiti!

If you read my blog and you’re tired of hearing about Haiti …. sorry.  It’s my life right now.  They need is HUGE and maybe by next week I can tell you all the amazing things on my mind about my church that I have fallen madly in love with.  I will also tell you about Cayden’s life back at school and how I found a great babysitter too!

  1. Maybe God is telling you something?? She seems pretty personable and passionate. Write to her…all that could happen is that she might not get to read it.

  2. Wow, good idea Shawnah. Yeah, write to her. What would it hurt and just maybe something helpful will come of it. Maybe all of us should write to her??? Flood them with letters and it should get their attention.

  3. Jamie….

Don’t ever, EVER stop talking about your children waiting for you…..because honestly, they are our Brothers and Sisters in Christ….we should ALL be dreaming about Haiti and Sarah Palin!!!

    Keep sharing….

  4. I am praying for you today, Jamie!

  5. I know what you mean about feeling like people get sick of hearing about it, but someone has to listen! 🙂 I love your blog! Will definitely be back to keep up with your journey!

  6. I don’t blame you. If I met ANYONE in power face-to-face, that’s what I would talk about, too.

  7. keep talking, my friend!

i understand what you mean–i think the people around me are getting tired of hearing about haiti too. but it’s just been so heavy on my heart!

  8. Never, never stop talking about Haiti…we all need reminders that the world is bigger than our own backyard and that there is pressing, urgent need out there.

Also, I was hoping that in your dream conversation with Sarah Palin you’d tell us what she said. What did she think about Haiti? Any reply?
