Yummy breakfast of the week.

I’m about to head out for a run but I must tell you all of my favorite new breakfast for the boys and I!  It is super easy, looks cool, and is something different than the normal toast/waffle and fruit that we usually have!

First we start with a banana cut up in the bottom of a bowl.  Yummy!  I split a banana between the boys and have a whole one for myself.

Then on top of the banana I add some Stonyfield Farm Organic Fat Free yougurt.  We use the french vanilla flavor.

Then next we add some Kashi granola.  Our new favorite flavor is the Summer Berry with strawberries, blackberries and kiwi.  Yummy!

This is where it got fun today!  I told the boys if they got dressed super fast I would add a surprise to their breakfast.  Oh we all LOVED what I added next!  I sprinkled a few Nestle mini-morsels in there and it made it even that much more yummy!!!

Then we finished it off with a cherry on top!

So there you have it.  The breakfast we’ve had 3 times this week!  The kids love it and so do I.  It would also be great for a dessert (especially with the chocolate morsels), or late night snack because it is just that yummy!!!

  1. Jamie,

When you have a chance, please E-mail me at mommymessenger@gmail.com. I didn’t see a way to send a regular E-mail to you.

By the way, I’ve served my children the same, but they like Kashi crunch. I haven’t tried the chips or cherry on top.
