Painting for Real Hope for Haiti

everyone loves art. everyone REALLY loves original art. meet our friend Marcus Gafford:

Marcus went to Haiti with us last month. i really respect and love Marcus for his heart for people AND his ridiculous artistic skill. aaron and i have a huge Gafford painting in out bedroom…it’s really really fantastic.  i also really loved getting to know his wonderful wife crystal on our haiti trip.  that’s one cool girl!

Marcus donated a painting entitled, “HUNGRY PEOPLE,” to the Real Hope For Haiti Campaign in hopes to raise more money for the rescue center and clinic. (how cool is that?) 100% of the auction money goes directly to Real Hope For Haiti. honestly, this painting would look incredible in ANYONE’s house.

“HUNGRY PEOPLE” is a mixed medium painting on photo mounted to board. it measures 24 inches wide and 24 inches tall. it includes a 1/4″ frame which makes the painting 3 inches deep.

the painting tells the story of hungry people all over the world. specifically in Haiti, half of children die before the age of 15. many children in villages are severely sick due to lack of nutrients and proteins. in the background of the painting it reads, “poverty isn’t the absence of money…it’s the absence of HOPE.”

this amazing painting by Marcus Gafford will be valued by any art lover. it also reminds us that we all can make a difference. Please help support Real Hope For Haiti by bidding on this painting!

(“Marcus Gafford” appears on the bottom of photo but not the actual painting)
