5 years ago I was ….

I have a very inspirational blog brewing in my head but I can’t seem to sit down long enough to allow my mind to work. Maybe that’s my problem. I’m always multi-tasking and therefore all the good stuff in my head never gets to come out on this journal of mine.

Anyhow … look for a great post in a few days about people that I consider heroes in my life. I recently heard a Sara Groves song that has inspired so much thinking and pondering. I’ll fill you in soon enough. Until then enjoy this mindless chatter.

Tara tagged me and I am just so happy she finally has internet again. I mean come one who doesn’t have internet for a couple of days … it’s like she lives in a third world country or something. Come one now guys!

1. The rules of the game get posted at the beginning.
2. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
3. At the end of the post, the player then tags five people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read the player’s blog.
4. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer.

  1. Diet coke is such a huge weakness of mine 😉

  2. I stopped by from CWO blogroll – so very cool that you are adopting 2 children from Haiti! Our previous neighbor was originally from Haiti and she is a dear. I wish you all God’s best on this journey!
ps – I, too, cried at the timing of my first pregnancy, but know not that God had better plans than I did 🙂 Our first is a honeymoon treasure.
    Blessings!

  3. yes God did have much bigger plans than ours when we got pregnant with Cayden. He is such a joy and I CAN NOT imagine my life wtihout him. I believe also that without having Cayden then we would not have moved forward with adoption when we did. So no Cayden = no Deacon, Amos or Story.

I like GOd’s plans better than my own!!!

  4. OOPS! I meant that I know NOW that God’s plans are better – not “not” 🙂 I type too fast for my brain sometimes 🙂 I, too, like God’s plans way better than my own.
